Niagara Falls is the perfect family vacation destination. The Great Canadian Midway, is a 70,000 sq ft building with more than 300 games for the whole family to enjoy. It offers bowling, pool tables, a Sportzone Bar, Boston Pizza and is also home to Ghostblasters Dark Ride and FX Thrill Ride Theatre. The Ghostblasters Dark Ride is a ride through a haunted house where the object is to shoot the ghosts with lasers. The FX Thrill Ride Theatre is a motion simulator where the seats move with the movie. The Great Canadian Midway is located on Clifton Hill, which is Niagara Falls’ entertainment and dining district, located one block from the Falls. Clifton Hill is also home to the Movieland Wax Museum.
For Niagara visitors interested in nature, the Niagara Parks Butterfly Conservatory is a must see attraction. It is located within Niagara Parks Botanical Gardens and is home to approximately 2000 butterflies with up to 50 species. Niagara Falls visitors will also enjoy the Niagara River Rec Trail, which is 56 km (35 miles) of spectacular Niagara nature, where visitors can walk, rollerblade or cycle.
If shopping is what you looking for, then Niagara is the place to be. The Seaway Mall, located in Welland, provides a friendly shopping atmosphere. The Pen Centre, located in St. Catharines, has 170 stores for all of your shopping needs.
